From Browser it could be called by using file://store/ prefix , but I cannot check it as my Browser service is disabled at the moment. Can somebody with working Browser check this link:

file://store/samples/pictures/Leaf.jpg ?

if somebody is still reading this thread, can you guys try

    file:///samples/pictures/Leaf.jpg or

    file:///store/samples/pictures/Leaf.jpg ?

it seems that it was my mistake – it is file:/// not file://

    Dr. B0lsen,

For the purposes of protecting myself and my company, I have carefully ask this question so as to not reveal the real intent or purpose, as well to protect my identity. Would you kindly respond in your comments, rather than by the transient email address supplied? I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you tried to step-debug through third-party apps and modify the execution path so as to bypass certain security features? For example, I am trying to step over a method to prevent its execution, but the simulator results in a null pointer exception and then terminates the app. I believe it is possible to do this, but I am running out of time to prove it can be done. I really need to make this work.

Came across a nice zip called blackberryhack which showed you how to use the Blackberry JDE to load apps which required a serial and then using ollydbg you could find the correct serial hidden in the code.

Some apps dont work this way and thats why it wouldbe nice to edit a .cod file and remove the registry codebit.
